AWARD SHOWS

Awards shows are a great way to celebrate achievement and acknowledge the people that matter and we love helping you to do this. Whether you’re looking for an MC to present the show, wow moments throughout the night or full production support to look after your AV needs and stage management on the evening, we have several options for you.

EVENT: Junk Kouture
CLIENT: Junk Kouture
VENUE: Various
AUDIENCE: 5,000
DATE: 2014 - 2018

Junk Kouture is a secondary school contest that gives students platform to create bespoke designs from recycled materials and
showcase them in some of the country’s best-known venues.

S.E.A. came on board in 2015 for the Grand Finale in 3Arena with 3 weeks lead time. In that time, we arranged a high spec production, set design, script, scheduling, staffing, full stage management & backstage management, registration, guest acts and show calling.

From 2016, S.E.A. was engaged to produce the regional rounds; 6 shows across 6 locations all within two weeks - the SEC Armadillo (Glasgow), The Royal Theatre (Mayo), University Concert Hall (Limerick), The Millennium Forum (Derry) and the Helix (Dublin). We also continued to produce the 3Arena Grand Final annually. Our role evolved year on year, and we delved further into the project including answering team questions in the run up to the live show, sourcing special guests & MCs, researching new methods of audience engagement.

We also worked closely with the client in upgrading their entry website & with the title sponsor in terms of live show branding. Working with a crew of over 20 for each live event, S.E.A. managed 320+ students backstage and entertained audiences from 2,000-5,000 each night.
We were delighted in 2016 to accept, alongside the JK team, the Awards for Best Live Event & Event of the Year at the Event Industry Awards.

EVENT: Event Industry Awards
CLIENT: Event Strategies
VENUE: The Clayton Hotel, Burlington Road
AUDIENCE: 350 - 700
DATE: 2012 - 2015

S.E.A. proudly sponsored the Event Industry Awards from 2012-2015. During these years, Susie was annually appointed as Line Producer and worked closely with the EIA Team from the early stages of the organising process.

Susie’s focus was on the live event; working with the leading AV, lighting & staging companies to showcase the very best that Ireland’s Event Industry has to offer. She also had the challenging task of calling the show and ensuring there were no glitches in front of an audience of event professionals. Susie worked closely with all acts involved in the Best Corporate Entertainment category to help them perfect their performance and ensure the production complimented them perfectly.

It was through the E.I.A.s where Susie met Laura (now S.E.A.’s Director of Operations) in her role as Head of Events for Event Strategies. They worked closely together on the EIA’s for three years before Laura joined the S.E.A. team in the Autumn of 2015.

Client Testimonial

“The EIA's are the Irish event industry's very own gala event and most talked about production in the industry's calendar. To undertake production of this project requires putting your own production skills under the most rigorous examinations by one's peers. S.E.A. gained plaudits from the very best in the business for their work.

S.E.A.’s consummate professionalism, passion and meticulous attention to detail were a major component in what was a considerable event success.”
