GAA & HSE initiative #littlethings, August 2016

To celebrate the 3rd annual health themed All Ireland semi-final the GAA partnered with the HSE to promote their #littlethings wellbeing campaign. SEA was appointed by the GAA to project manage the two activations that took place on pitch before the first match and during half time.  The SEA team worked alongside 33 GAA volunteers from clubs all over the country to create a special piece for the GAA and HSE for the wellbeing campaign.

Studio2stage; The Irish Music and Dance Experience, New Jersey USA, July 2016

Studio2stage brings together some of the best young Irish dancers from all over the world for an intensive 9-day workshop in a professional setting. The dancers are taught original choreography from four different choreographers culminating in a spectacular performance onstage @Wilkins Theatre in Kean University, New Jersey, USA. Susie Sheil is the line producer and has been involved since it first began in summer 2014. 

Dublin Horse Show, July 2016

Late last year SEA was appointed as the new entertainment partner for the RDS Dublin Horseshow. 
The SEA team completely revamped the entertainment programme for 2016, introducing a fresh approach with daily entertainment throughout the RDS grounds.  With a plethora of Pop-up performances, live bands, flashmob dancers and circus acts there was plenty of family fun during the prestigious 5-day festival.

The GAA commemorates 1916 : Laochra, April 2016

The GAA commemorated 1916 in this historic event which took place in Croke Park on April 24th 2016. The large scale spectacle was produced by Tyrone Productions and broadcast live on Irish National Television. Producer Patricia Carroll (Tyrone Productions) appointed Susie Sheil line producer, Niamh Mitchell project coordinator and the SEA team to project manage the event. 

Junk Kouture 2015/2016

Bank of Ireland Junk Kouture is a contest that takes place in Ireland and Glasgow which gives students in second level education a platform to create breath taking designs from materials that would otherwise be as rubbish. SEA came on board with Junk Kouture in 2015 for the grand final in the 3Arena. In 2016 SEA produced all 4 regional competitions and the grand final in the 3Arena. Susie Sheil was appointed line producer and the SEA team stage managed, chaperoned and ensured the overall smooth running of the events. 

Meitheal 2015 and 2016

Susie Sheil worked closely with Ronan Flood and Susan Nolan (Advantage Group) to devise and activate Failte Ireland’s largest annual event for international buyers; MEITHEAL. For the last two seasons Susie Sheil and the SEA team brought together Ireland’s finest and most respected actors and performing artists to animate the events in Trinity College, Carton House, Royal Hospital Kilmainham, Croke Park Stadium and Teelings Distillery. Featured recording Artists and bespoke performances included Kíla, Seo Linn, Prodijig, LUXe, The Joshua Tree, Simon Morgan [Tenor] and Majella Cullagh [Soprano]

Croke Park Meetings and Events Launch

SEA devised and produced the live entertainment programme for Croke Park Meetings & Events’ Official launch in October 2015. Susie and the SEA team brought together over 120 performers to enhance and activate the dynamic Hogan Suite and All Star Suites. Following the successful launch SEA was honoured to be appointed Official Entertainment Partners. In July 2016 the Croke Park Meetings & Events team celebrated the coveted prize of ‘Best Launch Event’ at this year’s Event Industry Awards.
