Susie gained enormous international experience during her time with Riverdance. She was Line Producer with us for tours of America, Europe and Japan with the maincompany, but it was in her capacity as head of the Flying Squad Corporate Division that she really brought the name of Riverdance to international attention; She brought Riverdance asfar a field as Kuala Lumpur, Osaka, Hiroshima and Tokyo and personally set up and managed our PR performances in those cities. On the corporate front Susie has looked after Riverdance presentations from Anaheim to Monte Carlo and she was across our memorable appearance at the Opening Ceremony for The Special Olympics.

Susie has the great capacity to be efficient and friendly at the same time. She does not sacrifice personal warmth while cracking the whip. She has very good people-handling skills and, in a company such as ours which contains many varied and colourful characters, she always managed to be fair yet firm. Susie is an addition to any team; she has a good business head on her shoulders coupled with innate creative instincts. I would be delighted to have Susie with me on any project I was involved in and I have no hesitation in recommending her to any position.

Julian Erskine, Executive Producer of Riverdance , Abhann Productions

I worked with Susie Sheil during the run up to The 2006 Ryder Cup at The K Club, Ireland. Susie specificallyworked on the Opening and Closing Ceremonies for the event and the VIP Players’ Gala Dinner. These three events, part of the 2006 Ryder Cup Official Event programme, were funded by Failte Ireland and Ryder Cup Ltd. and therefore had to meet the demands of the Irish Government, who wanted to promote Ireland to the world, and those of Ryder Cup, their players and several hundred VIP guests.

The Opening Ceremony, which was the centre piece of these three events, waswatched by millions across the globe and has been hailed as the finest Opening Ceremony ever seen either in Europe or in the United States. The concept, designed by the late Rupert Murray, was implemented by Susie Sheil and her team with unparalleled skill and patience. Not only did she have to manage over 400 performers, but also massage the egos of the world’s finest golfers – no mean feat!

David Watt, 2006 Ryder Cup Official Event Manager, European Tour UK.

I had the great pleasure of working again with Susie on the Opening and Closing ceremoniesas well as the Gala Dinner for the Ryder Cup in Dublin in 2006. These three major events at such a prestigious international competition worked seamlessly, in no small part due to Susie’s efficient and comprehensive management.

Julian Erskine, Executive Producer of Long Road Productions

Susie is, quite simply, one of the most well-connected and creative event producers that I have had the pleasure of working with. Susie will be coming to you with the sense of an entertainer combined with qualities of a natural leader: genuineness, expertise and creativity.

Jeff Calmus, Assistant Vice-President, MetLife, USA.

My first contact with Susie was during a planning meeting for the Chairman’s Council program in Dublin 2009. During the course of the planning, Susie realized the program called for more than the “off the shelf” ; Taking all of our feedback into consideration, Susie worked collaboratively with ease and humor. Her creative ideas for bespoke entertainment were exactly what we were looking for as plans for the evening developed.

With performers and contacts from a variety of backgrounds and her past work experience, Susie created a highly impactful and powerful event. The performers all knew each other, but this would be their first performance as a group. She successfully pieced together a tightly timed and choreographed routine while the performers were spread across the globe. With a limited time to rehearse together, her communication, organization and preparation were critical. On the night of the program, as a result of her exceptional skill and professionalism, she developed an evening of entertainment that left our discriminating attendees and executives on their feet.

Lori Allan Director, Conference & Event Management, MetLife, USA

Susie is an absolute treasure, both personally and professionally.  She is strategic, creative, diplomatic, funny, flexible, able to foresee potential problems and quickly create solutions - and a team player.  I’ve worked with Susie in three different countries and in every case, she was a vital part of the team.  A successful event depends on partners who embody trust, confidence and professional integrity and Susie Sheil is the epitome of these values.

Susie knows her business and knows how to motivate teams of people to get the job done. While assisting multiple projects in different countries, Susie knew when to either call the shots or call someone’s bluff; either way she works with the utmost integrity and headstrong business sense.

Cory Fowkes, Director of Production, Executive Producer at Next Level Event Design, Chicago, USA

Susie is creative but not precious, diligent but not over-earnest, diplomatic but not a shrinking violet.

She is a supreme professional who sets high standards for herself. She marshals and controls all the elements of a successful event effortlessly, skilfully, and with a smile. A key strength is her ability to leverage human relationships and to bring the best out of everyone on the team.

The EIA's are the Irish event industry's very own gala event and most talked about production in the industry's calendar. To undertake production of this project requires putting your own production skills under the most rigorous examinations by one's peers. By common acclaim the EIA's 2012 was the best since their foundation and Susie Sheil  gained plaudits from the very best in the business for her work.

Susie’s consummate professionalism, passion and meticulous attention to detail were a major component in what was a considerable event success.

Eugene Bortolozzo, Director of Event Strategies Ltd

I had the good fortune to enjoy and observe Susie in action as the producer of the prestigious annual Gala Awards evening at the Doubletree Hilton, Dublin. Susie produced a slick, seamless and visually impressive event on behalf of the event organizers . On a very busy night of awards, live entertainment, video production, live cameras and speeches, when surrounded by all her top peers of her industry, she was totally unflappable. It struck me, that in a room full of event management professionals, Susie stood out, and that’s no mean feat. Great to see her still smiling – and up on the dance floor – at the after-show party!

Joseph Nazari, Commercial Director at JM Publishing & media

I cannot recommend Susie enough. We had a very high level group in Ireland ( a group of 125 people who have seen it all and done it all) over the years. Susie created events for us that the group is still talking about 6 month later. Once she understands your group, she creates a unique event that you attendees will remember for a very long time.

Our group was VVIP and they were so impressed they gave a standing ovation - in 10 years, they have NEVER done that before. Truly she created events with talent that was totally unique and incredibly impressive and on a tight budget.

I cannot recommend her enough - in 10 years she has been the very best- and we have had the best before. Thank you Susie for a truly memorable week in Ireland! And if that we're not enough, she is a delight to work with.

Terri Pazirandeh, Vice President at Franklin Center for Global Policy Exchange, USA.

Susie Sheil has worked closely with venuesworld.com global clients both in Ireland and internationally over the last number of years. As a director and co-founder of venuesworld.com I value greatly Susie’s insight, creativity and production management skills and she is the first person  I call when considering an entertainment partner for our large global client events.

Quality travels and given the depth and breadth of the Venuesworld.com client portfolio delivering events across 22 countries it is always comforting to know that such a high quality partner is available to us and our clients.

John F Burke, Company Director, Venuesworld.com, Ireland

Susie worked with us on several events as part of the 3,000+ delegate Dublin FIP Congress, one of the top 5 business tourism events of The Gathering 2013. From her creative talents in understanding and meeting our many needs, to her absolute professionalism in planning and producing the events, Susie delivered to meet, and exceed, our expectations.

Her hands-on approach and personal commitment to the project was particularly appreciated. She obviously loves what she does - and is really good at it! The feedback from our delegates from 107 different countries says it all - it was their best conference ever - and the entertainment events were a particular highlight for their stay in Dublin.
