Managing & Creative Director
Susie first began working in the world of stage craft and entertainment when she joined The Abbey Theatre in the early 90’s as an assistant stage manager. She soon advanced to stage director and production manager before work took her overseas.
From the late 90’s through to 2004 she toured the globe, first with Lord of the Dance and then Riverdance, working her way up the ranks to Line Producer, running the Riverdance corporate events division back at Dublin’s HQ. In this role alone, Susie produced over 50 private events worldwide with the Irish dance phenomenon.
Highlights of her career at home in Ireland include her appointment as Line Producer for three of Ireland’s largest and most significant public events Special Olympics 2003 Opening Ceremony in Croke Park Stadium, Dublin Ryder Cup 2006 Opening Ceremony on the grounds of the K-Club, Co. Kildare, and, more recently, the GAA 1916 Commemorations, Laochra also in Croke Park Stadium, Dublin 2016.
Al co-founded S.E.A. with Susie in 2011. Driven by the vision of bringing top quality entertainment and high production values to the corporate world, together they have grown the business to make S.E.A. the market leader within their sector in Ireland.
Coming from a strong science and business background, Al has used those skills to compliment the flair and creativity of Susie and the team to great effect.
Al believes we are very much a ’people’ business. The S.E.A. team reflect the ethos of the company and the commitment to delivering above and beyond clients’ expectations, every time.
When time allows, Al can be found indulging his passion for all things football and rugby related; especially Arsenal FC and Leinster Rugby.
DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS
Laura began her career in the events industry managing B2B Awards and Conferences for 5 years. During this time she managed over 50 events including the very popular Event Industry Awards from 2011 to 2015. It was her prowess in that role that was spotted by the Directors at S.E.A. and it wasn’t long before they had wooed her and she was appointed General Manager in September 2015.
Laura runs a tight ship, managing the day to day running of the Dun Laoghaire Office, while developing and maintaining relationships with clients, artists and suppliers. She also works alongside Susie and Al on Business Development.
Laura has a Bachelor of Arts/Humanities Degree and a post Graduate Diploma in Event Management and PR. Having worked as a teacher in her early career she is well equipped to deal with the demanding nature of the industry and the characters within it. With her cool, unflappable nature she is most definitely a force to be reckoned with.
Niamh is an honours graduate from DIT where she completed a degree in Event Management. Throughout her 4 years studying she completed a 9 month internship where she had the opportunity to work on prestigious award ceremonies including The Event Industry Awards.
Niamh hit the ground running when she joined the S.E.A. team in 2015 as Project Coordinator for Laochra: The GAA commemorates 1916. She became fully immersed in every aspect from creative meetings, rehearsals, production meetings, all admin regarding the 200 performers and overall being the link between all departments working on the project. Niamh is the dedicated Project Manager on The Dublin Horse Show 2016 and 2017.
Niamh’s day to day role in S.E.A. involves liaising with artists, clients, office admin, diary management and project coordination. Niamh is known in the office for her speedy comedic GIF responses and can most definitely give any international traveller a run for their money with the air miles she likes to clock up at any given opportunity.
After graduating from Trinity College Michele joined KPMG where she trained and qualified as a Chartered Accountant. Having spent a number of years as an Audit Manager Michele moved to the Ulster Bank’s International Financial Services division working with overseas clients and held a number of managerial positions and directorships.
More recently Michele decided to take a step back to spend more time with her family and took up a position in Trinity College tutoring Business students in the area of Financial Accounting and Analysis. In 2016 Michele joined S.E.A. at a time of rapid expansion and is responsible for all matters financial and provides a great counterbalance to her more creative colleagues.
When not in the office Michele can be found “managing” her four daughters or on the tennis court.
ASSISTANT PROJECT COORDINATOR
Aislinn completed a degree in Event Management when she graduated with honours in November 2018. Throughout her degree, she gained experience working at various events, with entertainment promoters, artists and radio stations which gave her a keen interest in the events & entertainment industry.
In her third year of studying in DIT, she completed a 6 month placement in S.E.A. and didn’t want to leave! When she went back to her final year of study, she joined the team on site when she got a chance (finishing her thesis on the way).
After graduating, Aislinn re-joined the S.E.A. team in 2019. Her day to day role involves office admin, liasing with artists, project co-ordination and managing the company website.
